i really really really don't want to write
this story
it hurts my head.
it reminds me a little bit when i was a kid
in my mental state
and i used to lay in bed and listen to arthur
godfrey on a saturday because if i didn't i knew i was going
to hell
and above all i didn't want to go to hell
how did a kid make their own hell
imagine, listening to arthur godfrey
i hated him, hated him.
i was really screwed up back then
how old was i
young very young
ten maybe or eight.
how did i get those screwed up ideas
where the hell did they come from.
i hate to say from being catholic
from my feelings
my feelings always told me i was going to hell
god- what a mess i was.
i was like two people
i thought regular
and i had this other crazy way of thinking
like it intruded in on my right thinking.
anywayyyy
who cares
and what does it mean
don't know and don't care.
oh, i know why
because it vaguely resembles how i feel about
writing about something i don't know what the
hell i am going to write about
it's almost the same feeling
an arthur godfrey feeling.
i used to listen to him
when i didn't want to.
i am continuing this story because
i don't want to
that makes a lot of sense.
and in a sick way it does make sense.
anne hallorhan
what about anne hallorhan
nurse turned cop.
she's 28 now.
put her in a different hospital.
there are a number of women disappearing
including meghan mc nevins.
she met pete mc nevins
and tried to warn him.
she would keep an eye on his wife
to see how that progressed.
the phone rang at the desk and anne picked it up
fourth floor
nurse hallorhan
anne, it's matt.
we have to meet tonight.
ok, i can do that.
i get out of here at 7.
meet you at paddy's at 8
ok.
how are you doing he asked
i'm good.
ok,
see you in a few hours.
all, right.
goodbye.
anne hung up the phone and pulled
molly's chart from the wagon.
she noted there was nothing that jumped
out at her from the chart
and put it back in place.
nurse hallorhan a voice called.
anne said, yes, before she turned and saw
that it was dr. hastings standing there
looking at her intently.
yes, doctor,
what is it, can i help you?
yes,
what time are you on duty tomorrow.
i come in at 6 doctor
i pulled an early shift.
all right, can you meet me in the hospital cafeteria
at 8 that would be your break, there's something i
need to talk to you about.
sure.
is everything okay doctor
yes, i just need to speak with you about something
on a personal matter.
all right.
good.
see you then.
he rubbed his two hands together
and anne watched him walk down the
corridor.
i wonder what that is all about she mused.
time is 1:09
i am done.
or am i.
