it was red and green
blue and yellow
black and white
purple and pink
it stood four feet tall
and it was round
really round
it had little cards in a window
that you flipped with a switch
until you came to a few written words
on a white placard
then you dropped your quarter
and the machine lit up
the colors started to razzle and dazzle
and feet began to tap
hands began to clap
voices began to hum
and children began to sing
it was jukebox time
and there was noise noise noise
